June 2022 home sales and prices in the hollywood riviera

Take a look below at the homes that sold in the Hollywood Riviera during the month of June 2022.

The activity level was pretty typical with 10 homes closing escrow compared with 9 in May.

The average “list” price was fairly incredible at $2,417,000 with the average sold price at $2,435,700 meaning that, in general, homes sold WAY above the original list price.

The average price per foot was $1133 and average days on market was a very brief 16 days before going into pending status.

It was another great month for home sales in the Hollywood Riviera. See how it compares with other months on our Hollywood Riviera real estate trends page.

There were 13 on market home sales which is a very solid month.   The average list price was $1,773,308 with the average sold price at $1,839,538. Homes averaged only 12 days on market before going into escrow.  The top sale of the month was a beachfront home located at 2316 The Strand, Manhattan Beach 90266 which closed at $2,650,000.

Redondo Beach January Real Estate At a Glance

January was a great month for  real estate in Redondo Beach especially in terms of the home prices of the homes that sold during the month.  In terms of the number of homes that sold it was  slower than the prior months but that’s not unusual as the holidays really slow the homes going into esrow during December.  There were 62 on market home sales compared with a very low 35 sales during the previous January.  View addresses, prices and details of the homes that sold in all of Redondo Beach during January.

Real Estate Market Recap for Torrance California

The real estate market in Torrance was a bit more stable than just about any other city in the South Bay with only a small drop in home sales.  Torrance did see a decline in the number of home sales during the month with only 81 closed home sales compared with 99 a year earlier.  Compared with many other cities that saw more than a  50% drop from the year earlier this wasn’t bad at all.

The Hollywood Riviera real estate market slowed down a bit as most communities in the South Bay as the uncertainties of the coronavirus kept both buyers and sellers down a bit. 

Overall it was a fairly solid month in terms of home sales.  April 2020 saw 9 homes close escrow. The median list price of the sold homes in the Hollywood Riviera was $1,099,000 with the median “sold” price being $1,075,000 indicating it was still definitely a sellers market. The average price per foot was $761 and the average days on market was only 44.

February was a very slow month for closed home sales in the Hollywood Riviera with only 8 homes sold during the month. That’s the fewest home sales in a month over the past 18 months other than December.

Prices were very strong with the median list prices of $1,362,000 and a median sales price of $1,335,000.  Average price per foot for sold homes in the community was $784.  Median days on market was only 52 which is another indication of a strong sellers market.     See the Hollywood Riviera real estate stats for the past 15 months below.
