Slow Start to the year with only 3 homes selling in the Hollywood Riviera Last Month
The year definitely did not start off with a bank as there were only 3 homes that sold to start the year. January 2024 was SLOW for home sales in the Hollywood Riviera of the South Bay. January is often the slowest month for actual closed escrows as December is the slowest month for homes going on the market and going into escrow due to the holidays.
That said the home prices continued to impress. The average “list” price was $1,939,967 and the average sold price was $1,911,667 compared to $1,933,000 in December.
The median price per foot was $1007 and median days on market a very short 28.
The top sale of the month was 341 Avenida Atezada which was a 3 bed/2 bath single family home that closed at $1,980,000. We have little info on the home as the photos don’t show much and the description says almost nothing.
