What a year it was for the Hollywood Riviera real estate market in terms of both the number of home sales and the prices that they sold for.   There were 92 homes homes that sold during the year.  It was a fairly typical year in terms of the number of homes that sold, but prices were impressive to say the least.

The average listing price was $1,955,040 with the average sold price at $2,006,926. The average price per foot was $1011 and homes averaged only 26 days on market before going into escrow.

An average home price over $2,000,000…….incredible.

While the Hollywood Riviera might have a Redondo Beach mailing address, the homes are actually in the city of Torrance so it’s good to keep an eye on what the Torrance real estate market is doing.   December 2021 was a big month both in terms of home sale and prices and had 111  homes sell durig the month.  The average “asking” price was $929,840 with the average sold price at $968,112 meaning that homes generally sold WELL above the initial list price.
