To all of our friends, family and clients out there in the Hollywood Riviera, Redondo, Torrance, the South Bay and beyond…..we wanted to wish you a very happy Labor Day weekend. It’s a great day to be at the beach!
529 Paseo De La Playa - Top Home Sale of 2020 - Sold at $5,650,000
It’s not surprise that the highest priced home sale of the year in the Hollywood Riviera was a beachfront property on Paseo De La Playa. 529 Paseo De La Playa closed at $5,650,000 after a very brief time on the market listed at $5,800,000. It was fairly original but as the pictures indicate…..the views, the views the views. It also had extensive work done on the bluff to protect from erosion and allow a path to the beach so this is definitely going to be spectacular in the future. There are actually 3 current listings on Paseo De La Playa all at list prices that dward the $5,650,000 that this home sold for. View the current homes on Paseo De La Playa here.
Let’s take a quick look at the trends and statistics in the Hollywood Riviera over 2020. The chart below shows and up and down year for the number of homes for sale but the past few months have definitely seen a quick drop in the number of pending home sales.
The chart below shows the average price per foot for the past 15 months. Price per foot has held relatively steady with a few months of variation due to oceanfront homes selling
Paseo De La Playa is one of the best streets in all of the South Bay. The luxury homes on the bluff offer it all……unblockable oceanfront location, huge lots that extend to the beach, privacy not seen in the beach cities, and proximity to beach, shopping, dining and more. If you’re interested take a look at the wonderful beachfront homes of Paseo De La Playa.
Here’s a brief rundown on some of the homes that are active, pending and sold over the past few years.
If you’re looking for a spectacular location….this might be it. One of our favorite streets in all of Southern California is Paseo De La Playa on the bluffs of the Hollywood Riviera. This is an unbelievable location as the lots/homes are not only oceanfront but the lots are huge and extend all the way down to the beach. As 425 Paseo De La Playa is one of the lower homes the slopes is a bit more mild and they’ve been able to build a path down to the beach (which is a VERY challenging step for homes without a path as it require California Coastal approval….which they don’t do). Although the home has some nice features, it is really the lot and location one will be buying…but oh what a location. Take a look below to see this unique opportunity.
